Sculpture Garden Concert Series

On Friday evenings in June from 6:00-7:30 PM, the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (BFAC) hosts free concerts in the Sculpture Garden on the East side of Bethlehem's City Hall at 10 E. Church Street.

Families can bring blankets, folding chairs, and enjoy a picnic in the garden. The events will feature a wide range of musical performances for all concertgoers to enjoy.

Admission is free for all.

In cases of inclement weather, concerts will held indoors at the Bob Cohen Room in the Bethlehem Public Library, next door to the Sculpture Garden and City Hall.

2024 Season Line Up

The Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission (BFAC) proudly presents the 2024 Sculpture Garden Concert Series, running every Friday in June from 6:00-7:30 pm. This summer’s series reflects the rich cultural diversity of Bethlehem and the greater Lehigh Valley, showcasing music from the best of regional artists who are also nationally, and internationally, known.

A FEW GOOD MEN

Playing music from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, this band makes you feel good and makes you want to dance. You’ll get to enjoy songs like Sam and Dave’s “Soul Man,” “Miss You” by the Rolling Stones, and “Just My Imagination,” by the Temptations.

BIG VALLEY BLUE GRASS

Get ready for a toe-tapping evening of traditional and contemporary bluegrass! Bethlehem’s own Big Valley ignites the stage with hard-driving rhythms and soulful harmonies. Featuring fiddle, up-right bass, banjo, guitar, mandolin and wide- ranging vocals, the group’s fully authentic sound is inspired by Folk icons like Ricky Skaggs, Sam Bush, Alison Krauss and Bob Dylan.

BAKITHI KUMALO AND FRIENDS

Born in the Soweto township of Johannesburg, South Africa, Bakithi Kumalo’s first job was playing bass at seven years old, filling in for his uncle’s bass player. He’s perhaps best known for his fretless bass playing on Paul Simon’s iconic 1986 album “Graceland.” Currently a Lehigh Valley resident, Bakithi will be joined by Miho Nobuzane on piano and Ray Marchicha on drums.
