Dear Arts Supporter:
It is a special pleasure to seek your nomination for our annual Tribute to the Arts awards. This year the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission will celebrate 22 years of honoring outstanding individuals, arts organizations, businesses and institutions for their exceptional support for the arts. In 1991 BFAC established the Tribute to the Arts awards to promote the arts and recognize those who enrich our community, as exemplified by our past honorees. As you will see from the list below, Bethlehem is endowed with a wealth of talented individuals, diverse arts organizations, and businesses that help them thrive.
Your support is important. I hope you will submit a nomination. We will consider nominations for a variety of arts disciplines including architecture, literature, performing arts (theater, music, dance, storytelling), the visual arts (painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography) and media (film, video, audio). Nominees are considered on the merit of their contribution to the arts rather than on the number of entries submitted. Award recipients will be selected by members of BFAC from the nominations received by March 15, 2012. Please fine a nomination form below, you may also download one from this page (above link)
Mark your calendar and save the date for the award presentation on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Please note that the award reception, previously held in spring, has been moved to mid-autumn. Please join us as we honor our awardees with an evening reception at the beautiful Payne Gallery at Moravian College. For more information about the event, visit us online. Thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Deni Thurman-Eyer
Chair, Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission
